MEET THE FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Becca, the founder of The Clear Republic.
Like a lot of women, I spend a lot of time at sporting events, concerts, and festivals. And like a lot of women, I kept running into the same problem over and over again when going to events: clear bag policies.
Every time I got ready for an event, it felt like a tradeoff. Either carry a clear bag that puts everything on display, or try to cram personal items into pockets that may or may not exist. Tampons. Medications. Wallets. Things you do not want visible, photographed, or judged.
It was frustrating. It felt invasive. And it definitely did not feel stylish.
What really stood out to me was how different the experience was for men. Their pockets function like private bags. They walk through security, empty them, and move on. No second thought. No exposure. I kept thinking, why does this feel so one sided?
During my senior year at the University of Arizona, after countless games and concerts, that question turned into an idea. What if women could pass through security just as easily, without giving up privacy or style?
That idea became The Clear Republic.
I designed a patent-pending clear purse with removable, interchangeable privacy covers. Before security, the bag complies. After security, privacy is restored. Simple, intentional, and made for real life.
Since then, I have spoken with hundreds of women. Over 90 percent shared a personal story about clear bag frustration or embarrassment. That validation is what keeps this moving forward.
The Clear Republic exists because women deserve to feel confident, comfortable, and present at the events they love. Not distracted by what someone else can see.
THE CLEAR REPUBLIC COMMUNITY
The Clear Republic is more than a bag. It’s about bringing people together.
Live, in-person experiences matter, and we’re building a community around them. People crave connection, and our brand exists to support those moments. It’s about the energy of being at a concert, game day, tailgate, or campus event with people around you, feeling present, included, and confident, without worrying about your personal items being exposed. The bag is just the tool; the focus is connection, community, and living in the moment.
We celebrate real-world connection in a world that’s mostly online, showing that experiences where people feel like they belong truly matter.
